- Add 1" to the measurement of your pet's neck.
- For pets with long hair add 2" to the measurement.
- Allow your pet to wear pet jewelry for about 30 minutes to an hour until he or she becomes comfortable wearing jewelry, since not all dogs or cats naturally accept wearing it.
